Hostinger adds its CDN to all web hosting plans, Single and Premium included

On October 14, 2026, Hostinger said its in-house CDN now comes with every web hosting plan, including Single and Premium, at no extra cost and on by default for new customers.

Hostinger adds its CDN to all web hosting plans, Single and Premium included. Plans with CDN: All web hosting, Extra cost: $0, Avg response time: 965 to 714 ms, Premium: $2.99/mo (48 mo).

Hostinger announced on October 14, 2026 that its in-house content delivery network (CDN) now comes with all of its web hosting plans, “including Premium and Single, at no additional cost”. Until now the CDN was kept for higher-priced plans, the post says. New web hosting customers get it switched on by default.

What changed

Hostinger says it reworked the CDN so it needs 45% to 50% less computing power, which let it extend the service to its cheapest plans without adding servers. Part of that came from moving SSL certificates from RSA to ECDSA, which the post says cut the CPU used for SSL to about a third.

Hostinger’s own figures for the effect on sites:

  • Average server response time fell 26%, from 965 ms to 714 ms.
  • On older SSD-based servers the drop was up to 35%.

These are Hostinger’s measurements; the post doesn’t publish per-plan or per-region results.

Who gets it automatically

Existing customers were moved onto the CDN automatically only if all three were true:

  • the domain uses Hostinger’s DNS,
  • the site wasn’t already behind another CDN, and
  • the customer hadn’t opted out.

If your domain points to Hostinger through another DNS provider, such as Cloudflare, you were left out and have to check the setting yourself.

What it costs

The CDN adds nothing to the bill. Hostinger’s web hosting page, as we read it on October 18, 2026, lists:

Plan Intro price, 48-month term Renews at
Premium $2.99/mo ($143.52 upfront) $10.99/mo
Unlimited $3.99/mo ($191.52 upfront) $16.99/mo

What to do

If you’re on Single or Premium, open your site in Hostinger’s dashboard and confirm the CDN is on. If you already use Cloudflare or another CDN, don’t run two at once; pick one. When you compare hosts, judge the renewal price, not the intro price, since the CDN is now on every plan.
