Reader-supported: when you buy through links on AskGPU we may earn an affiliate commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes our verdicts. How we make money

Editorial policy

Last updated

AskGPU exists to help you pick where to run AI and which tools to pay for. These are the rules we follow so that you can trust what you read here.

Facts come from the source, with a date

  • Prices, plans, free tiers and specs are read on the provider's or maker's own pages, in US dollars before tax.
  • Every price and fact shows the date we checked it. Data older than 90 days is flagged for a recheck.
  • When a provider's own pages contradict each other, or a fact isn't stated, we say so or leave it out rather than guess.
  • Benchmark scores are labelled as the maker's own numbers unless we ran them ourselves.

Ratings only after testing

We give a score only after hands-on testing; products we haven't tested say "Not rated yet". Lists such as our Top 10 AI models explain how they were chosen, and are not scores of our own.

What we cover

We cover the products our readers are choosing between: GPU clouds, VPS and hosting, AI models and AI tools. Whether a product has an affiliate program has no bearing on whether we include it, and we list products that pay us nothing when they're the right choice.

Money and independence

  • Some links earn us a commission; see the affiliate disclosure.
  • We don't accept payment for reviews, rankings or placement, and we don't publish sponsored posts.
  • If a provider gives us free credits or a test account for a review, that review says so. It doesn't change the verdict.
  • AskGPU's founder pays for some of the tools we cover, such as Hostinger, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Descript and Runway. We say so where it's relevant.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help research, draft and build the site. They don't replace checking: every price and fact is checked against its source and dated before it's published, and every source is linked.

Corrections

If something is wrong, tell us on the contact page. We recheck it at the source and, if it's wrong, fix it and update the page's date. We don't remove a negative point because a provider asked us to; we correct it only if it's inaccurate.
