Accessibility
Last updated
We want AskGPU to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we do
- Pages use real headings, lists, tables and labelled buttons, so screen readers can follow them.
- Menus, search, filters and calculators work with a keyboard. Press / to search; Esc closes menus and search.
- A "Skip to content" link appears when you press Tab on any page.
- Text resizes with your browser's zoom, and the layout works down to phone width.
- Animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Light and dark modes follow your device, or you can choose one at the bottom of any page.
Known limitations
- Some charts and animations are decorative; the numbers they show are also given as text.
- Links to providers open their sites, which we don't control and which may be less accessible.
