Hostinger stops renewing cPanel Reseller plans and will close them in 2027

Since October 1, 2026, Hostinger's cPanel Reseller plans can no longer be renewed. All remaining plans end on October 1, 2027; Hostinger points customers to Agency hosting.

Hostinger stops renewing cPanel Reseller plans and will close them in 2027. Renewals ended: Oct 1, 2026, All plans close: Oct 1, 2027, Agency Startup: $29/mo (24 mo), Agency renews at: $49/mo.

Hostinger is closing its cPanel Reseller hosting. Since October 1, 2026, “Renewals for cPanel Reseller plans will no longer be available”, and every remaining plan will be shut down on October 1, 2027. Hostinger first posted the notice in May 2026 and last updated it on September 28, 2026.

What changes for each customer

What happens to your plan depends on when it expires and whether auto-renewal was on:

Your plan What Hostinger’s notice says
Expires before Oct 1, 2026, auto-renewal on Renewed once, for up to 12 months, at an adjusted price
Expires before Oct 1, 2026, auto-renewal off Could be renewed by hand until Sept 30, 2026
Expires after Oct 1, 2026 Auto-renewal off for good; manual renewal only before Oct 1
Runs past Oct 1, 2027 Service ends on Oct 1, 2027

If service is ended early, Hostinger says you get a refund for unused time or a credit toward an Agency plan. The notice doesn’t say how long data stays available after a plan ends.

Hostinger’s suggested replacement

Hostinger wants reseller customers on Agency hosting, which uses its own hPanel instead of cPanel. A built-in tool migrates all sites under one cPanel username in a single request. Some things don’t move and must be set up again by hand: cron jobs, DNS records, custom SSL setups and FTP accounts.

On Hostinger’s Agency page, as we read it on October 18, 2026, Agency Startup costs $29/mo on a 24-month term and renews at $49/mo, for up to 100 websites.

Who is affected

Agencies and freelancers who resell cPanel hosting to their own clients at Hostinger. Clients used to cPanel will see a different control panel after a move to Agency hosting.

What to do

Check your expiry date and renewal price under Billing in the Hostinger dashboard. Before you migrate, export your cron jobs, DNS zones and FTP logins, since those don’t transfer. If your clients need cPanel, compare cPanel reseller plans at other hosts before your current term runs out.
