Hostinger’s cheapest web hosting plan, Premium, costs $2.49 a month, but only if you pay $119.52 upfront for 48 months; after that it renews at $10.99 a month, more than four times the intro rate. Unlimited is $3.49 a month ($167.52 for 48 months, then $16.99), and Cloud Startup is $7.99 a month ($383.52, then $25.99). Those are Hostinger’s US-dollar prices as of November 1, 2026, which it labels a Black Friday offer.

How we worked this out: the Premium, Unlimited and VPS prices are the ones AskGPU lists for Hostinger (checked October 25, 2026), and they match what Hostinger’s pricing, web hosting and VPS pages showed on November 1, 2026. The Cloud Startup, Agency, email and plan-limit figures come straight from Hostinger’s own pages and help center, read the same day. We haven’t hosted a site with Hostinger ourselves. Prices exclude any sales tax.

How much does Hostinger cost per month?

Hostinger sells three shared and cloud web hosting plans on its main pages. Every intro price on them is for a 48-month term, paid in one go. Hostinger’s pricing page says it directly: “All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan.”

Plan Intro price Paid upfront Term Renews at Price Hostinger shows struck through
Premium $2.49/mo $119.52 48 months $10.99/mo $12.19/mo
Unlimited $3.49/mo $167.52 48 months $16.99/mo $18.99/mo
Cloud Startup $7.99/mo $383.52 48 months $25.99/mo $27.99/mo

Each plan card says the plan “Renews at [price]/mo for the same term. Cancel anytime.” So when the 48 months end, Hostinger’s default is another 48-month term at the renewal rate.

The struck-through “list” price is not the renewal price. Premium shows $12.19 struck through, but renews at $10.99. Work from the renewal figure, not the discount percentage Hostinger prints (“80% off” on Premium).

Hostinger’s pricing page also lists Cloud Professional at $15.99 and Cloud Enterprise at $29.99 in its page data, but not on the visible plan cards, so we can’t confirm their terms or renewal rates.

Can you pay Hostinger monthly?

Yes, but Hostinger doesn’t print the monthly price on its plan pages. Its billing help article says web hosting, cloud hosting and Hostinger Business email come in “1 month, 12 months, 24 months or 48 months,” KVM VPS plans in “1 month, 12 months or 24 months,” and agency hosting in “1 month or 12 months.” The web hosting FAQ says: “While you can pay for our web hosting services monthly, we recommend longer plans.”

Three rules from Hostinger’s help center matter here:

  • Shorter terms cost more per month. Hostinger says “Longer billing cycles usually provide a lower average monthly price.” It doesn’t publish the 1-, 12- or 24-month web hosting prices on the pages we read; you only see them at checkout.
  • Later cycles are at the regular rate. The billing-cycle article says “Billing cycles after the initial purchase are charged at the regular rate.” The intro price is for your first term only.
  • No free domain if you move from monthly to yearly. The same article says switching from monthly to yearly hosting “doesn’t qualify for a free domain.” The web hosting FAQ says the plans “come with a free domain when ordering for one year or a longer period.”

What does Hostinger cost over four and eight years?

The intro term is four years long, so the real question is what years five to eight cost. Here is the arithmetic, using a second 48-month term at each plan’s renewal price.

Plan Years 1-4 Years 5-8 (48 × renewal) Eight-year total Average per month over 8 years
Premium $119.52 48 × $10.99 = $527.52 $647.04 $6.74
Unlimited $167.52 48 × $16.99 = $815.52 $983.04 $10.24
Cloud Startup $383.52 48 × $25.99 = $1,247.52 $1,631.04 $16.99

Per year, the jump is sharper than the monthly figures suggest:

  • Premium: $119.52 ÷ 4 = $29.88 a year during the intro term, then $10.99 × 12 = $131.88 a year. That’s 4.4 times as much.
  • Unlimited: $167.52 ÷ 4 = $41.88 a year, then $16.99 × 12 = $203.88 a year, 4.9 times as much.
  • Cloud Startup: $383.52 ÷ 4 = $95.88 a year, then $25.99 × 12 = $311.88 a year, 3.3 times as much.

So the Premium plan’s real long-run price is about $6.74 a month if you keep it eight years, not $2.49. That’s still low for shared hosting, but budget for the renewal from the start.

What each Hostinger plan includes

Hostinger’s help article “Parameters and limits of hosting plans” lists the hard limits. The sales pages describe some of the same items more loosely, so we’ve noted where they disagree.

Limit Premium Unlimited Cloud Startup
Websites 3 Unlimited 100 (sales page says “Unlimited”)
Storage 20 GB (SSD) 50 GB (NVMe) 100 GB (NVMe)
Inodes (file count) 400,000 600,000 2,000,000
RAM 2 GB 3 GB 4 GB
CPU cores 1 2 4
PHP workers 40 60 100
Databases 10 150 300
Mailboxes (email trial) 2 per website 5 per website (sales page says “Unlimited”) 10 per website (sales page says “Unlimited”)
Max PHP upload size 1,536 MB 2,048 MB 3,072 MB
Backups (sales page) Weekly Daily Daily and on-demand
Bandwidth Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited

Hostinger also says “Unlimited features are subject to our Fair Usage Policy,” and the help article says limits “are fixed” and can’t be raised one at a time. It doesn’t publish a monthly visitor limit for any of the three plans.

For the Black Friday offer, the web hosting page lists doubled AI credits: 500 on Premium, 1,000 on Unlimited and 2,000 on Cloud Startup. All three include a free domain for one year and free SSL.

The help article also notes that the old Business plan “is now offered as Unlimited on most pages,” and that “Existing Business plan customers keep their current plan and limits.”

How much is Hostinger business email?

This was one of the top questions in Google’s results for “hostinger pricing.” There are two parts: the email that comes with hosting, and Hostinger’s paid email plans.

Email with hosting is a trial. The web hosting page lists mailboxes as “free for 1 year.” Hostinger’s help article on the email trial says something different: “The trial length matches your hosting plan’s billing period at the time you claim the trial.” It gives the example that a one-month plan includes a one-month trial, and says renewing hosting doesn’t extend it. Check the end date in your account rather than assuming either.

While it lasts, the trial gives each mailbox 1 GB of storage and a 100-message daily sending limit, per Hostinger’s email limits article. When the trial ends, Hostinger says that with a saved payment method “all mailboxes will automatically renew as a paid Hostinger Business Starter plan.” Without one, you have to upgrade manually or export your mail “to prevent data loss.”

The paid email plans, per mailbox, on Hostinger’s business email page (48-month term, paid upfront):

Plan Intro price Paid upfront Renews at Storage Daily sending limit
Business Starter $0.39/mo $18.72 $1.59/mo 5 GB 1,000
Business Standard $0.99/mo $47.52 $2.79/mo 20 GB 3,000
Business Premium $1.99/mo $95.52 $3.99/mo 50 GB 3,000

Sending limits are from Hostinger’s email limits article; prices are from the business email page. The page also runs a “Buy 2 mailboxes, get 1 free” offer on 12-month or longer terms.

The trial article doesn’t say which Business Starter price applies when the trial converts. If it’s the $1.59 renewal rate, a small business with five mailboxes would pay 5 × $1.59 × 12 = $95.40 a year for email once the trial ends, on top of hosting. That’s an estimate, not a price Hostinger quotes. For comparison with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, see our free business email guide.

Hostinger VPS pricing

Hostinger’s VPS plans follow the same pattern with a shorter term. AskGPU’s data (checked October 25, 2026) matches the VPS page on November 1, which now states a 24-month intro term:

Plan vCPU / RAM / NVMe Bandwidth Intro price Paid upfront (24 months) Renews at
KVM 1 1 / 4 GB / 50 GB 4 TB $6.49/mo $155.76 $11.99/mo
KVM 2 2 / 8 GB / 100 GB 8 TB $8.79/mo $210.96 $14.99/mo
KVM 4 4 / 16 GB / 200 GB 16 TB $12.99/mo $311.76 $28.99/mo
KVM 8 8 / 32 GB / 400 GB 32 TB $25.99/mo $623.76 $49.99/mo

Over four years (the intro term plus a 24-month renewal), KVM 2 costs $210.96 + (24 × $14.99) = $210.96 + $359.76 = $570.72, an average of $11.89 a month. All plans include weekly backups and a free domain for a year, per the VPS page. Our VPS price-per-GB comparison puts these plans next to DigitalOcean, Vultr and Hetzner.

Hostinger’s pricing page also lists Agency Startup at $29 a month, $696 for 24 months, renewing at $49 a month, with 100 websites, 12 GB of RAM and 300 GB of NVMe storage. (Hostinger’s billing article lists only 1- and 12-month agency terms, so check the terms at checkout.)

Worked example: a small business site on Premium

A one-site business with a domain and three mailboxes, on Premium for eight years:

  1. Hosting, years 1-4: $119.52, paid on day one.
  2. Hosting, years 5-8: 48 × $10.99 = $527.52, charged when the term renews.
  3. Domain: free for the first year. Hostinger’s hosting pages don’t state the renewal price, so add your registrar’s rate from year two. Our domain cost guide has .com renewal prices across registrars.
  4. Email: the trial covers up to 2 mailboxes per website on Premium, so a third mailbox needs a paid plan or Unlimited. At Business Starter’s renewal rate, three mailboxes would be 3 × $1.59 × 12 = $57.24 a year after the trial (an estimate, as above).

Hosting alone comes to $647.04 over eight years. If you need more than two mailboxes or more than three sites, compare Unlimited: $167.52 for four years is $48 more than Premium upfront.

What to watch for

  • The renewal term. Plans renew “for the same term.” A 48-month renewal at $10.99 is a $527.52 charge. Turn off auto-renewal or change the billing period beforehand if you’d rather pay yearly; Hostinger’s billing article says a change made under auto-renewal “takes effect at the next renewal,” and any pending renewal invoice must be paid first.
  • The 30-day refund window, and what it excludes. Hostinger’s refund policy (last revised October 29, 2026) says products “may be refunded only if canceled within 30 days of the date of the transaction,” and that the date “includes the date any renewal is processed.” Domain renewals, privacy protection, Google Workspace email, VPS licenses and paid support are not refundable. Crypto payments are never refunded.
  • The free domain on a refund. The policy says free domains from special deals “are non-refundable,” and Hostinger may refund the difference between what you paid and the domain’s value. You keep the domain for its term.
  • Upgrades limit your term. During a hosting upgrade, Hostinger’s billing article says you can only choose “the current billing period or 12 months.”
  • “Unlimited” has limits. Bandwidth, sites and mailboxes marked unlimited fall under the Fair Usage Policy, and the help center’s limits table is stricter than the sales page in places (5 mailboxes per site on Unlimited, 100 sites on Cloud Startup).
  • The sale. Hostinger calls the current prices a Black Friday offer. Its pages don’t say when it ends.

How Hostinger compares with other cheap hosts

From AskGPU’s price data for entry plans (checked October 17-25, 2026):

Host, entry plan Intro price Term Renews at
Hostinger Premium $2.49/mo 48 months $10.99/mo
Bluehost Starter $3.99/mo 36 months $9.99/mo
HostGator Hatchling $3.75/mo 36 months $10.99/mo
DreamHost Launch $2.89/mo 1 year $10.99/mo
SiteGround StartUp $3.99/mo 12 months $17.99/mo

Hostinger has the lowest intro price and the longest intro term, and its renewal rate is in line with Bluehost, HostGator and DreamHost. SiteGround renews much higher. Our three-year hosting cost ranking works through the totals for each host, and Hostinger vs Bluehost compares the two side by side. There are also head-to-head pages for Hostinger vs SiteGround and Hostinger vs Namecheap.

Which Hostinger plan should you choose?

  • One to three simple sites, two mailboxes each: Premium. It’s the cheapest way in, at $119.52 for four years.
  • More than three sites, more mailboxes, or daily backups: Unlimited. The extra $48 upfront buys unlimited sites, 50 GB of NVMe storage and daily backups.
  • A busy WooCommerce store or many client sites: Cloud Startup, for 4 CPU cores, 4 GB of RAM and 100 PHP workers. At $25.99 a month on renewal, also compare managed WordPress hosts.
  • An app, n8n or an AI agent that needs root access: a KVM VPS, not shared hosting. KVM 2’s 8 GB of RAM is the usual starting point; see self-hosting n8n.
  • You don’t want to prepay four years: Hostinger still sells shorter terms, at higher prices it shows only at checkout. A host with shorter intro terms, or a monthly VPS, may suit you better. See our Hostinger page, Hostinger alternatives and the web hosting hub.
