Wix lets you build and edit Wix Harmony sites from inside Gemini

Wix announced on August 24, 2026 that people can now create Wix Harmony websites directly inside Google’s Gemini assistant. Wix built the feature with Google as a connected app in Gemini, so the whole site can be started and changed from a Gemini chat without leaving Gemini.

How it works

You connect the Wix app in Gemini and type “@Wix” in the chat. Then you describe the site by text or voice: the business, its goals and its brand. Wix generates a working Harmony site on its own infrastructure, with built-in support for commerce, scheduling, payments, SEO, accessibility and security.

In the same conversation you can add features, ask how the site is performing and make updates by typing requests. The site can also be managed the usual way in Wix’s Business Manager, including inventory, analytics, pricing and bookings.

Who can use it

Wix says the app is available now to Gemini users “in eligible markets.” The release does not list the countries, languages, or which Gemini or Wix plans are needed.

What it costs

The press release does not mention any price, and it does not say whether a paid Wix plan is needed to publish the site or connect your own domain. The site is built and hosted by Wix, so check Wix’s plans before you build anything you plan to keep.

Why it matters

This puts Wix’s builder inside a general assistant that many people already use for work, which lowers the effort to get a first draft. The site still runs on Wix, not on Google, so the usual questions about plan prices, renewal costs and moving a site away from Wix later still apply.

What to do

If you use Gemini and want to try Wix, the connected app is a quick way to see a first version of your site. Before you publish, open the site in Wix itself and compare its plans with other builders on the features you need.
